SOLAR ENERGY

SOLAR ENERGY

Solar energy begins with the sun. Solar panels (also known as “PV panels”) are used to convert light from the sun, which is composed of particles of energy called “photons”, into electricity that can be used to power electrical loads.

It is also called green solution which is totally noise free, cost effective and eco-friendly.

Why Solar Energy

Solar power generation has emerged as one of the most rapidly growing renewable sources of electricity. Solar power generation has several advantages over other forms of electricity generation;

  • Reduced Dependence on Fossil Fuels
  • Environmental Advantages
  • Matching Peak Time Output with Peak Time Demand
  • Modularity and Scalability
  • Government Incentives

Normally we are segregating it into three types,

Low Capacity, 3KW – 15KW

Medium Capacity, Photovoltaic inverter convert DC power generated by solar photovoltaic array into AC power with the same frequency and phase as the public grid.

Classification of Photovoltaic Grid-Tied Power Stations

According to the voltage level of the grid, it is divided into three levels:

  • Small Grid-Tied Photovoltaic Power Stations: access to the grid of 380V
  • Medium Grid-Tied Photovoltaic Power Stations: access to the grid of 10 KV – 35 KV
  • Large Grid-Tied Photovoltaic Power Stations: access to the grid of 66 KV

Grid-Tied Mode

The connection mode of photovoltaic power station accessing to the grid can be divided into four ways: – Dedicated Access, – T Access, – Dedicated Access or T Access to user’s internal power grid.
